We search for that ticker and keep only tokens whose symbol matches exactly, across every chain.
Each token is dated by its earliest DEX pair. The oldest gets the crown.
"First deploy" here means the first DEX trading pair DexScreener has indexed for that token, which is usually minutes after the contract was created. DexScreener search returns a limited number of pairs per query, so for heavily copied tickers some very small clones may not appear. Always check the contract yourself before buying.
